Updates: SECURE ACT 2.0 and the Corporate Transparency Act - Vickie Wilcox

Important Federal Update for Estate Planners - SECURE ACT 2.0 and the Corporate Transparency Act:   A lot is happening in the estate planning world due to changes in the federal laws and regulations.  Vickie will be providing an overview of the SECURE ACT 2.0 which will highlight provisions that should be of interest to advisors and many clients.  In addition, anyone who owns a business or advises/ has a client who owns a business must become familiar with the Corporate Transparency Act and the significant reporting requirements looming ahead.

Vickie has been a trust and estate planning attorney in Albuquerque for over twenty-five years. She is an ACTEC (American College of Trust and Estate Counsel) Fellow and is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. She is honored to have been appointed by the Supreme Court of New Mexico to serve on the State Disciplinary Board. She also serves on New Mexico’s Legal Specialization Commission.

Vickie practices in the areas of estate planning, tax law, probate, estate and trust administration, charitable giving, business planning and business succession planning.
