Behavioral Finance

presented by Shawn Waked, MS

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, FINANCIAL ADVISOR

How many times have you watched families have conflict over money while sitting in your office?

The skill sets to identify how different families view money, in combination with their place in the family system, are a tremendous start to adding value to your clients and their experience with you.

During this session, Shawn looks forward to sharing some basics on the psychology of money and how different “money scripts” shape our financial views and interactions with others. We will also explore what happens when one member of the family has a varying money script than another member, how you can start to identify these opportunities to help, and how you can orchestrate meaningful and satisfying conversations and compromises between the different players in an estate.
